Open Operations are focused around Fun and Community!

These types of Ops are a great way to meet new people, let off some steam, have some fun, and maybe try something new!
Open Operations are organised by the Community and Trial Squadron. We encourage other VAFs/Squadrons to get involved too!

These types of Ops are for those who thrive on a challenge.
Main operations apply everything learned within,
and out of the group.
Main Operations are aimed to make Members feel like a small cog in a large coalition.
We deliver these types of Operations
as a service to our Community.
Our Community works hand-in-hand with these types of operations. Every decision is made by a Member, and the experience of every Member relies on every other Member.
We deliver layered and high-quality training to help our members get the most out of this kind of Operation.

Main Operations are exclusive to DCAF Members, we use Simple Radio, LOTATC, and a carefully structured chain of coordination to maximise Enjoyment and Immersion in each operation.

Sid Operations
Side Operations are focused around Immersion and Fun.
This type of Op is intended to enable members who've completed their grade 1 of training to try something new whilst maintaining a decent level of Immersion.
Side Operations provide members with a stress-free, engaging learning environment.
By offering on-the-go coaching in a live environment, we're able to offer our members with a chance to learn about the other roles we offer.
